The STM32MP13x Single Board Computer (SBC) is a compact yet powerful solution for machine learning, vision systems, advanced multimedia, and industrial automation. It is built around the STM32MP13x processor, having a Cortex-A7 core up to 1GHz, so its processing could be efficiently carried out. Integrated with 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet PHY and 18-bit RGB display support, the SBC provides adequate connectivity and graphical output. Though small, measuring just 85mm x 56mm, it comes outfitted with all essential on-board connectors, thus rendering it very versatile for developers and engineers working on cutting-edge embedded systems.

SoC and PMIC of STM32MP13x SBC

The high-performance Socs: STM32MP135 and STM32MP133, from STMicroelectronics, are inside Cortex-A7 up to 1 GHz with excellent connectivity and processing. The STM32MP135 embeds 30 communication peripherals, including CAN, dual Ethernet, and a camera interface, while the STM32MP133 supports 29 communication peripherals, including CAN and dual Ethernet. Both are suitable for industrial automation, vision systems, and edge computing. Optimizing power delivery to these SoCs, the STPMIC1EPQR PMIC provides reliable and high-performing energy optimizations for applications sensitive to power.

Memory, Storage, and Connectivity

The iWave Systems STM32MP13x SBC offers good memory, storage, and communication features for industrial and AI-based applications. It has 512MB DDRL RAM expandable to 1GB & 4GB eMMC Flash expandable to 128 GB. Therefore, there is sufficient storage for operating systems and data storage. An additional 16KB EEPROM is included for the configuration of the system; the Micro SD slot provides an extra provision.

The board provides seamless connectivity, equipped with Gigabit Ethernet for high-speed networking through a single RJ45 Mag-jack Connector. It features one USB 2.0 OTG micro-AB receptacle connector and an additional USB header. This enables easy attachment and data transfer with peripherals, making it a dynamic solution for embedded computing.
