Altech DO-1 Universal Monitor with Dual Power Input Supports Monitoring of up to 128 Modbus RTU/TCP Devices with 30-Day Battery Backup

Altech Corp. has recently announced the release of its DO-1 universal monitor for Modbus devices. By removing the traditional barriers to entry, this solution opens the door to valuable operational insights that were previously inaccessible, particularly for small- and medium-sized companies, to easily monitor, collect, and analyse their equipment and process data without any subscription fees or licenses.

Altech’s universal DO-1 monitor for Modbus devices tracks temperature, humidity, pressure, vibration, energy usage, among other parameters, alerting to equipment statuses. It connects to up to 128 Modbus RTU/TCP devices and supports integration with new and legacy Modbus networks, leveraging the protocol’s industry adoption for cost-effective data monitoring. The DO-1 features 5GB of internal data storage expandable up to 128GB with a microSD card, dual Ethernet, and optional Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Altech offers two models such as: freestanding (DO-1) and DIN rail mount (DO-1-DR). By default, the DO-1 ships with a USB 2.0 Type-A / USB 2.0 Micro-B Cable, an antenna dust cap, a two USB Type-A dust caps, and 2-pole and 3-pole connectors with screw terminals.

Altech promotes the DO-1 as a user-friendly, do-it-yourself solution that requires no programming knowledge. Its intuitive web interface makes configuration simple, allowing users to create custom dashboards to visualize data and set up personalized alerts or events with email notifications. The DO-1 offers powerful data collection features, enabling users to easily filter and export data to Excel or CSV files for detailed analysis and reporting.
